Gifted Program Services

Direct services for gifted-identified students are provided through the Advanced Content delivery model.

Students enrolled in the Advanced Content model in elementary school participate in 25 (FTE) segments per week in gifted education classes. The district may elect to include students who are not identified as gifted but who have demonstrated exceptional ability and motivation in a particular content area. In elementary school, gifted education services are referred to as Gifted and Talented Education (GTE).
