Commencement ceremonies for the 2024 Houston County School District high schools will be held May 24 and 25, 2024.  All five ceremonies will be held in Perry at the Georgia National Fairgrounds and Agricenter in Reaves Arena. Each graduate will receive 10 tickets for family and friends. Links to the live stream will be posted on this page prior to the start of each graduation. 

The graduation commencement schedule is listed below. Doors will open 1 hour prior to the start of each ceremony. Please allow plenty of time to park and find a seat inside of the arena before ceremonies begin. Handicap parking will be the same for all five graduation ceremonies. Click here to find parking information for each ceremony.

  • Northside High, May 24, 4:00 p.m.
  • Warner Robins High, May 24, 7:30 p.m.
  • Veterans High, May 25, 8:30 a.m.
  • Perry High, May 25, 12:00 p.m.
  • Houston County High, May 25, 3:30 p.m.

Clear Bag Procedures

Safety is our number one priority! To provide a safe environment for our graduates and their guests, the District has implemented guidelines limiting the types of bags allowed at ceremonies.  For guidelines, visit https://www.hcbe.net/bagprocedures. Thank you for your cooperation as we celebrate our graduates!

Items allowed:

  • Clear Bags

Items subject to inspection:

  • 1 Small Purse (no larger than 4.5" x 6.5")
  • Diaper Bag (age appropriate child use be present)
  • Blanket
  • Camera and Binoculars (no cases permitted)
  • Medical Bag
  • Stadium Seat (cushions or seats with backs)


Items not allowed:

Items such as balloons, flowers, chairs, coolers, noisemakers, posters, flyers, tripods, and umbrellas will not be allowed in Reaves Arena. Anyone with these items will be asked to take them to their vehicle.

Parking Information

The Georgia National Fairgrounds & Agricenter (GNFA) is located at 401 Larry Walker Parkway in Perry. 

  • Handicap Parking: Please use Exit 135 on I-75.  Enter and exit through the North Gate.  Please have your handicap decal prominently displayed. Handicap parking will be in the courtyard behind the Georgia Grown Building.
  • Northside High, Veterans High and Houston County High: If you are attending one of these ceremonies, please use Exit 135 on I-75.  Please enter and exit through the North Gate.
  • Warner Robins High and Perry High: If you are attending one of these ceremonies, please use Exit 135 on I-75. Please enter and exit through the West Gate.
